Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I want to order a wedding dress from Peter Choo Bridal, but I’m not visiting Bangkok anytime soon. What should I do?

A: To estimate the price and determine the possibility of making your gown, we require the following information:

- Your wedding date.
- Your arrival date in Thailand (if applicable) and your preferred pick-up date.
- Confirmation of whether you can have your body measurements taken by a local tailor or seamstress (this option may not be necessary if you wish to get measured by our professional in Bangkok instead).
- Your selected wedding gown from our bridal collection or from your own references.

You can send us your information via:

Once we have all the necessary information, we will contact you to answer any questions.

Q: How far in advance should I book my appointment at Peter Choo Bridal if I’m traveling to Thailand?

A: We recommend booking your appointment at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak wedding seasons. This will give you ample time for consultations, fittings, and any necessary alterations.

Q: What is the best option if I have less than a week to stay in Bangkok?

A: Our recommendation is to purchase a ready-made gown (off-the-rack sample) from our boutique. Our seamstresses can complete alterations within a week (depending on staff availability). Past collections samples are available for an immediate purchase. If you are short on time or budget, we recommend booking your sample appointment with us. If the alteration process takes longer than your stay in Thailand, we will ship your wedding gown to your country via DHL. Please note, you will be responsible for any shipping, handling costs, and import duties.

Q: How many fittings will I need if I’m only in Thailand for a short period?

A: Typically, brides need at least two fittings: the first to confirm measurements and fit, and the second for final adjustments. If you're on a tight schedule, we will work with you to minimize the number of fittings while ensuring your dress is perfect.

Q: Can I try on your wedding gowns when I arrive?

A: Yes, you can. There will be a 2,000 Baht fee for trying on up to 4 wedding dresses (500 Baht for a single dress). You are welcome to take photographs or videos during the trial session. No fee will be charged if you decide to order a dress during your trial session.

Please note that most of the collections samples shown at our boutique are approximately US sizes 2-4 (Bust: 32-33", Waist: 25-27", Hip: 36-37" for mermaid and sheath dresses).

Q: What are your price ranges for your bridal collections and custom-made wedding dresses?

A: At Peter Choo Bridal, prices range from 25,000 THB (approximately 750 USD) to over 150,000 THB (around 4,500 USD), depending on the style and details of the wedding dresses. Brides are welcome to inquire about the specific price of any dress they are interested in, and we will gladly provide detailed information based on your preferences.

Q: How long does it take to make a custom wedding gown?

A: The duration will depend on the style of the wedding gown you choose.

- Simple or Minimalist style: 1 to 2 weeks
- Top-half Lace and/or Embroidery: 2 to 4 weeks
- Full-body Lace and/or Embroidery: 3 to 8 (or more) weeks

*Please note: The timeframe is calculated in business days and does not include staff days off.

These are estimated timeframes. The actual duration will depend on staff availability, gown complexity, and the period during which the order is placed (high vs low season in Thailand will affect the workload of our staffs).

If a bride needs her gown completed within a week, an additional charge for rush orders will apply (depending on staff availability).

Q: Are consultations available for overseas brides before they arrive in Thailand?

A: Yes, we offer virtual consultations for overseas brides. This allows us to discuss your vision, share inspiration, and even review your measurements so that everything is prepared ahead of your visit to Thailand.
